TRAINING METHODS & STRATEGIES.

I believe in the value of science. Hard and soft science. Hard science tells me to assess the data presented, hypothesize, manipulate variables according to my desired outcomes, reassess those measures; and adjust accordingly. Soft science tells me when that process needs to be tailored to each individual moment, situation, person, unprecedented event, and emotion that may present itself.

Hard science can write a hell of a 16-week strength program. Soft science sees that at week 4 your mom gets diagnosed with cancer and physical stress levels must be lessened to compensate for recent increases in emotional stress.

Hard science results in positive adaptations. Soft science results in ongoing adherence. A combination of the two result in a newfound confidence for your ability to hold yourself accountable and determine your outcomes. And in addition to science, I believe that confidence is the most transferable training benefit.
